Deadlines to know

Federal Court time limits are short. Check your own deadline with the Court Registry.

Leave and judicial review (immigration)

The application is served and filed within 15 days of being notified of the decision for a matter in Canada, or 60 days for a matter outside Canada.

Applicant’s Record (immigration)

Served and filed within 30 days after the application is filed, or 30 days after you receive the tribunal’s written reasons.

Judicial review of a federal decision

The application is made within 30 days after the decision or order was first communicated to you.
